NEPSE slips meager 1.41 points on last trading day of this week

NEPSE index plunged meager 1.41 points (0.14%) to close at 986.66 level than yesterday’s 988.07 mark index.

The local bourse went up high to 995.03 level within the initial hour and then came down to intraday low of 982.60 level before closing at 986.66.

Maximum trading of shares of Grand Bank and Prabhu Bank were done today amounting Rs 72.2 million of the total turnover whereas more than 16 percent of total share were traded following the news of their merger; “Prabhu Bank set to acquire ailing Grand Bank”

As per today, altogether 1,876,601 unit shares of 143 scrips were traded today through 3,027 transactions worth Rs 650.01 million including manual turnover of Rs 291.36 million.

Hotels, Finance and HydroPower surged meager 3.51 points, 0.87 point and 4.1 points respectively.

Banking plunged 1.26 point or 0.14 percent to close at 879.71 level.

Development and Insurance went down by 1.49 point and 22.47 points respectively.

Manufacturing slipped 2.79 points whereas Others remained constant at 740.15 level.

Share Price of Hama, Jebils Finance, Western Development, Sindhu and Civic Development surged maximum today.
