NEPSE slips 6.82 points to settle at 938.96; turnover drops down to Rs 212 million

The local bourse slipped down by 6.82 points or 0.72 percent on the last trading day of this week to close at 938.96 level.

Manufacturing was the only index to land in green today recording meager surge of 2.56 points.

Commercial banks like MBL, EBL and BOK were among the mostly traded shares along with the shares of Insurance companies like LICN, PLIC, NLIC and NLICL.

The total turnover of the day stood at Rs 212.68 million where 414,240 unit shares were traded of 131 scrips.

As of today, most of the shares of commercial banks were trade (187,487 unit shares) worth Rs 95.39 million.

Thereafter shares of Development banks, Insurance and Hydro were traded most.

Share Price of SUBBL, MSBBL, SHINE, SBBL and REDBL surged meager today whereas share price of SBLPO, PRIN and LFLC plunged more than 5 percent.

HydroPower index plunged maximum today by 28.63 points where Banking, Development and Finance dropped by 6.76 points, 0.39 point and 1.58 point respectively.

Insurance dipped by 43.04 points or 1.02 percent to close at 4160.86 level.
