NEPSE slides meager 0.42 point: closes at 968.63 level

NEPSE index slipped meager 0.42 points (0.04%) to close at 968.63 level than yesterday’s 969.05 mark index.
Opening at 968.98 level this afternoon the local bourse climbed up to intraday high of 979.07 mark within the 1st trading hour and then came back to 968 level at closing.
The total turnover stood at Rs 984.41 million which included manual turnover of Rs 655.43 million of Nepal Investment Bank Promoter Shares.
Altogether 2,442,763 unit shares of 153 scrips were traded today through 2,937 transaction.
Among the sub-indices, Banking gained 2.52 points or 0.3 percent to close at 856.57 level whereas Insurance and Others dipped 3.17 points and 19.97 pointe respectively.
Development and Finance went up by 4.97 points and 3.96 points to end at 768.39 and 517.99 levels respectively.
Hotels dropped by double digits of 22.35 points whereas HydroPower and Manufacturing climbed 0.32 point and 5.82 points respectively.
Share Price of Companies like United Finance, Janaki Finance, Bhargav Bikas Bank, Kakre Bihari Bikas Bank, Hamro Bikas Bank surged by almost 10 percent.
