NEPSE Settles Today's Session With Minimal 3.27 Points Gain; GUFL Sees Highest Turnover

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a gain of 3.27 points, or 0.15%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 2,073.53 points. The index had incurred a loss of 10.62 points in the trading session before.

The trading day commenced with the index opening at 2,073.59, dipping to an intraday low of 2,060.08, and peaking at an intraday high of 2,075.62.

During today's trading, there were 303 different stocks traded in 53,256 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 7,459,424 with a total turnover of Rs. 2.88 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 32.59 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.09 Kharba.

Gurkhas Finance Ltd. (GUFL) had the highest turnover, reaching Rs. 23.14 crores, and closed at a market price of Rs. 863.50.

 

Similarly, Five companies hit the positive circuit for today.

 

On the flip side, Manushi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MLBS) experienced the highest loss of 5.15%.

 

In sector indices, the Four Sector Indices closed in the red today. The "Development Bank Index" saw the highest gain of 1.30%, while the "Manufacturing And Processing Index" experienced a loss of 0.82%.
