NEPSE settles at 1,382.02 points bleding 12.01 points with turnover dipping to Rs 26.55 Crore; Nepal Bank most traded after FPO proposal

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has depreciated today by 12.01 points or 0.86% to close at 1,382.02 points. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 26.55 crore where more than 7.42 lakh unit shares were traded through 3,193 transactions. 1 Shares of Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) stood ahead both in terms of total turnover and total traded shares for the day with the value of its total transactions exceeding Rs 5.18 crore and over 1.48 lakh unit of its scrips exchanging their ownership respectively. Scrips of Guheshowori Merchant Bank & Finance Co Limited (GMFIL) made the highest profit today as their value increased by 6.16% to Rs 155. On the other hand, shares of Kalika Microcredit Development Bank Limited (KMCDB) lost the most today with their value tumbling by 4.18% to Rs 1,500. Both the Sensitive and float index came down today by 2.66 points and 0.91 points respectively. The indices of all trading groups except trading and hydropower landed in red today. Insurance sector that lost 83.05 points stood as the top loser. Trading sector however gained minimal 3.20 points which saw it landed in green. 2 3 4 5 6
