NEPSE plunges 0.96 points; turnover amounts Rs 213 million

NEPSE index slipped down meager 0.96 points or 0.1 percent to close at 944 level. Similarly Sensitive and Float index dipped down by 0.22 and 0.07 points respectively.

Banking (819.84), Development (791.67) and Insurance (4127.19) plunged by 0.75 point, 1.32 point and 9.29 points respectively.

Hotels (1829.41) and HydroPower (2115.49) dropped by 5.83 and 6.74 points respectively.

However Finance (517.24), Others (729.57) and Manufacturing (1609.25) landed in green with surge of 0.03 point, 1.17 points and 2.79 points respectively.

Trading of Om Finance’s shares were done amounting Rs 29.16 million. Share Price of NNLB and KEBL went up by more than 9 percent today.

KEBL, SIC, CFCL, EFL and FMDBL were among the top gainers of the day whereas share price of SUBBL, NICL, ACEDBL, NEFL and JHBL plunged maximum today.

Trading of commercial banks and Development banks were done maximum today amounting Rs 66.73 and Rs 53.85 million.

Altogether 527,380 unit shares of 143 companies were traded worth Rs 213.04 million.
