NEPSE Plunged Further 2.55% to Close at 1,884.81; Intraday Turnover Stands at Rs. 1.750 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 1,884.81 today after losing 49.31 points from last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 2.55%. The index had lost 37.27 points yesterday.
The index opened at 1,934.03 and went intraday high at 1,934.64. It then made an intraday low at 1,879.69 and ultimately closed at 1,884.81.
230 scrips traded hands via 36,464 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 6,186,941 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.750 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than yesterday’s turnover of Rs. 1.134 Arba.
Prabhu Bank Limited Promoter Share (PRVUPO) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 11.82 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 145.
Adhikhola Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (AKBSL) gained highest 10% each and hit a positive circuit for the day.
On the other side of things, Terhathum Power Company Limited (TPC) lost all 10% today.
All sector indices closed red, and “HydroPower" lost the highest 4.28% while "Trading" lost the least 1.44%.
