NEPSE Plunged Further 0.61% To Close at 1,921.31; Intraday Turnover Declined to Rs. 1.058 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 1,921.31 today after losing 11.82 points from last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.61%. The index had lost 23.85 points yesterday.
The index opened at 1935.54 and made intraday high at 1,936.01. It then went intraday low at 1,908.74 and ultimately closed at 1,921.31.
230 scrips traded hands via 23,133 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 3,037,680 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.058 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday’s turnover of Rs. 2.044 Crores.
Asian Life Insurance Co. Limited (ALICL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 7.31 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 577. The shares of NMB 50 (NMB50) traded the most.
CYC Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (CYCL) gained the highest 9.99% and technically hit a positive circuit for the day.
On the other side of things, Laxmi Equity Fund (LEMF) lost the highest 5.73% today.
Only two indices closed green, and “Life Insurance" gained the highest 1.03% while "HydroPower" lost the highest 1.69%.
