NEPSE Plunged 46.08 Points to Settle at 2,030.59; All Sector Indices Close Red

The NEPSE index closed at 2,030.59 today after losing 46.08 points from last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 2.22%. The index had lost 9.75 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2078.63 and made an intraday high at 2,091.88. It then went intraday day low at 2,025.57 and ultimately closed at 2,030.59.

229 scrips traded hands via 49,416 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 8,613,489 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.968 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 4.349 Arba.

Sanima Bank Ltd. Promoter Share (SBBLPO) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 30.2 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 151.

CYC Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (CYCL) and Ngadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) gained highest 10% each and hit a positive circuit for the day.

On the other side of things, Ghalemdi Hydro Limited (GHL) lost the highest 6.60% today.

All sector indices closed red, and “Trading" lost the highest 3.88 % while "Mutual Fund" lost the lowest 1.2%.
