NEPSE Manages To Close Green by Gaining 0.15% to Settle at 1,953.35 Levels; Intraday Turnover Limited To Rs. 95.70 Crores

The NEPSE index closed at 1,953.35 today after gaining 2.99 points from last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.15%. The index had lost 15.61 points yesterday.
The index opened at 1,951.31 and made intraday low at 1,933.64. It then made intraday high at 1,957.88 and ultimately closed at 1,953.35.
234 scrips traded hands via 18,036 transactions. A total of 2,589,997 shares exchanged hands amounting to only Rs. 95.70 Crores in the turnover amount. This is lower than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.494 Arba.
Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 9.72 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 3,970 per share. The shares of Nepal Credit And Commercial Bank Limited (NCCB) traded the most.
Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (DLBS) gained the highest 6.10% for the day.
On the other side of things, NIC Asia Balanced Fund (NICBF) lost 4.60% today.
Six sector indices closed red, "Finance" gained the highest 1.21% while "Trading" lost the highest 0.79%.
