NEPSE Lost Minimal 0.01 Points Today to Close at 1,867.21; Only Three Sector Indices Close Green Led by "Others"

The NEPSE index closed at 1,867.21 today after losing minimal 0.01 points from the last trading day's closing. The index lost 5.89 points yesterday.

The index opened at 1,864.41 and made an intraday low of 1,850.58. It then ultimately closed at an intraday high of 1,867.21.

247 scrips traded hands via 23,054 transactions. A total of 3,111,833 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.119 Arba in turnover amount. This is higher than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 86.38 Crores.

Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 14.99 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 953 per share.

Shrijanshil Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SHLB) gained the highest 10% and hit a positive circuit for the day.

On the other side of things, Adhikhola Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (AKBSL) lost the highest 7.70% today.

Only three sectors closed green, "Others" gained the highest 2.04% while "Hotel and Tourism" lost the highest by 2.28%.
