NEPSE Lost 10% In Last 8 Trading days; Panic Sentiments Plunged NEPSE To 2020.23 Levels

The NEPSE index closed at 2,020.23 today after losing 45.59 points from last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 2.21%. The index had lost 12.92 points yesterday.
The index opened at 2,065.19 which is also the intraday high. It then made intraday low at 2,016.78 and closed at 2,020.23.
234 scrips traded hands via 28,959 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 3,887,748 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.312 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.273 Arba.

NIC Asia Bank Ltd. (NICA) had the highest turnover of Rs. 6.11 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 708.9. The shares of Kumari Bank Limited (KBL) traded the most.

Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ULBSL) gained highest 10% and hit the positive circuit for the day.

On the other side of things, Himalayan Bank Limited (HBL) lost the highest 9.97% today.

All sector indices closed red, "Manu.& Pro." lost the highest 2.74% while "Life Insurance" lost the least 0.9%.
