NEPSE Loses Minimal 0.07% to Close at 1,844.14; Intraday Turnover Declined to Rs. 50.76 Crores

The NEPSE index closed at 1,844.14 today after losing 1.38 points from last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.07%. The index had lost 12.81 points yesterday.
The index opened at 1,845.38 and made intraday low at 1,834.31. While it went as high as 1,849.86, it ultimately closed at 1,844.14.
221 scrips traded hands via 17,296 transactions. A total of 1,546,857 shares exchanged hands amounting to only Rs. 50.76 Crores in the turnover amount. This is lower than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 64.36 Crores.
Aviyan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (AVYAN) and had the highest turnover of Rs. 3.69 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 830.20 per share. The shares of Garima Bikas Bank Limited (GBBL) traded the most.
Sayapatri Hydropower Limited (SPHL) gained the highest 9.97% and technically hit positive circuit for the day.
On the other side of things, Century Debenture 2088 (CCBD88) lost 7.73% today.
Only three sector indices closed green, "Trading" gained the highest 0.69% while "HydroPower" lost the highest 0.53%.
