NEPSE Loses Further 7.72 Points To Close at 1,921.99; Only Two Sectors Close Green Led by "Manufacturing And Processing"

The NEPSE index closed at 1,921.99 today after losing 7.72 points from last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.40%. The index had lost 7.13 points yesterday.
The index opened at 1,931.01 and made the intraday high at 1,933.93. It then made intraday low at 1,913.09 and ultimately closed at 1,921.99.
223 scrips traded hands via 17,876 transactions. A total of 2,839,373 shares exchanged hands amounting to only Rs. 1.022 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.352 Arba.
Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 12.77 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 286 per share.
Civil Bank Ltd (CBL) gained the highest 10% and hit positive circuit for the day.
On the other side of things, Standard Chartered Bank Limited (SCB) lost 4.78% today.
Only two sector indices closed green, "Manufacturing And Processing" gained the highest 0.80% while "Others" lost the highest 0.78%.
