NEPSE Loses Double Digits to Close at 1,845.51; Intraday Turnover Stands at Rs. 64.36 Crores

The NEPSE index closed at 1,845.51 today after losing 12.81 points from last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.69%. The index had lost 2.61 points this Monday.

The index opened at 1,858.03 and made intraday high at 1,861.93. While it went as low as 1,840.50, it ultimately closed at 1,845.51.

216 scrips traded hands via 20,274 transactions. A total of 2,151,714 shares exchanged hands amounting to only Rs. 64.36 Crores in the turnover amount. This is higher than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 51.58 Crores.

Soaltee Hotel Limited (SHL) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 3.72 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 213 per share.

Aviyan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (AVYAN) gained the highest 10% and hit positive circuit for the day.

On the other side of things, People's Power Limited (PPL) lost 7.47% today.

Only two sector indices closed green, "Hotels And Tourism" gained the highest 1.56% while "Finance" lost the highest 2.54%.
