NEPSE Loses Double Digits on First Trading Day of the Week To Close at 2,010.01; Intraday Turnover Stood at Rs. 1.873 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 2,010.01 today after losing 27.92 points from last trading day. This is a loss of 1.37%. The index had lost 18.96 points last Thursday.
The index opened at 2,035.32 points and went intraday high at 2,043.03. Then, the index went intraday low at 2,007.68 and ultimately closed at 2,010.01.
227 scrips traded hands via 38,418 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 4,559,022 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.873 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.761 Arba.
Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 16.53 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 3,526 per share. The Nepal Life Insurance Co. Ltd. (NLIC) traded the most.
Upper Hewakhola Hydropower Company Limited (UHEWA) gained the highest 8.10%.
On the other side of things, Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GLBSL) lost the highest 7.09% today.
All sector indices closed red, "Manu.& Pro." lost the highest 3.58% while "Banking" and "Non Life Insurance" lost the least 0.66% each.
