NEPSE Loses Double Digits Again to Close at 1,950.37; Intraday Turnover Stands at Rs. 1.494 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 1,950.37 today after losing 15.61 points from last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.79%. The index had gained 32.43 points yesterday.

The index opened at 1,968.93 and made intraday high at 1,980.26. It then made intraday low at 1,947.37 and ultimately closed at 1,950.37.

236 scrips traded hands via 24,951 transactions. A total of 3,761,299 shares exchanged hands amounting to only Rs. 1.494 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 2.025 Arba.

Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 16.46 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 3,970.10 per share. The shares of Shine Resunga Development Bank Ltd. (SHINE) traded the most.

Khaptad Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (KLBS) gained the highest 8.18% for the day.

On the other side of things, Synergy Power Development Ltd. (SPDL) lost 4.56% today.

Only two sector index closed red, "Mutual Fund" gained the highest 0.24% while "Finance" lost the highest 1.51%.
