NEPSE Loses Double Digits Again to Close at 1,917.22; Intraday Turnover Stands at Rs. 1.407 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 1,917.22 today after losing 39.15 points from last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 2%. The index had lost 2.57 points yesterday.

The index opened at 1,957.76 and made intraday high at 1,967,63. It then made intraday low at 1,914.28 and ultimately closed at 1,917.22.

223 scrips traded hands via 24,388 transactions. A total of 3,697,723 shares exchanged hands amounting to only Rs. 1.407 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.053 Arba.

Nesdo Sambridha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NESDO) had the highest turnover of Rs. 6.78 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 3,244 per share. The shares of Himal Dolakha Hydropower Company Limited (HDHPC) traded the most.

Upper Hewakhola Hydropower Company Limited (UHEWA) gained the highest 7.42% for the day.

On the other side of things, Excel Development Bank Limited (EDBL) lost 7.95% today.

All sector indices closed red, "Finance" lost the highest 4.73% while "Mutual Fund" lost the least 0.31%.
