NEPSE Loses 44.56 Points and Closes at 2,419.80, All Sector Indices Close Red

The NEPSE index closed at 2,419.80 today after losing 44.56 points from last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 1.81%. The index had gained 35.66 points last Thursday.
The index opened at 2,471.81 today and made the intraday high at 2,508.88. While it went as low as 2,416.22, it ultimately closed at 2,419.80.
233 scrips traded hands via 40,507 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 5,095,834 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.26 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than last Thursday's turnover of Rs. 2.121 Arba.
Nepal Life Insurance Co. Ltd. (NLIC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 16.52 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 940 per share. The units of Siddhartha Equity Fund (SEF) traded the most.
Two scrips have gained 10% and hit the positive circuit breaker for the day.
On the other side of things, Emerging Nepal Limited (ENL) lost the highest 9.98% today.
All thirteen sector indices closed red. "Others" lost the highest 4.62%.
