NEPSE Loses 23.85 Points and Closes at 1,933.13; Only Two Sector Indices Close Green

The NEPSE index closed at 1,933.13 today after losing 23.85 points from last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 1.22%. The index had gained 94.92 points yesterday.

The index opened at 1967.30 and made intraday high at 1,987.59. It then ultimately closed making intraday lowest at 1,933.13.

229 scrips traded hands via 43,122 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 5,641,540 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.044 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday’s turnover of Rs. 2.196 Crores.

Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) had the highest turnover of Rs. 15.65 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 2,542. The shares of Hydorelectricity Investment and Development Company Ltd (HIDCL) traded the most.

CYC Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (CYCL) gained the highest 9.99% and technically hit a positive circuit for the day.

On the other side of things,Unnati Sahakarya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (USLB) lost all 10% today.

Only two indices closed green, and “Life Insurance" gained the highest 1.22% while "Development Bank" lost the highest 3.51%.
