NEPSE Loses 23.51 and Closes at 2,250.91, Only Mutual Fund Closes Green by 0.75%

The NEPSE index closed at 2,250.91 today after losing 23.51 points from yesterday's closing. This is a loss of 1.03%. The index had gained 8.90 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,274.80 points and made intraday high at 2,282.88. It then made intraday low at 2,247.60 and closed at 2,250.91.

219 scrips traded hands via 23,569 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 3,798,263 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.3 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 1.326 Arba.

Prabhu Bank Limited Promoter Share (PRVUPO) traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 12.81 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 145.

General Insurance Company Nepal Ltd (GIC) gained the highest 7.45%.

On the other side of things, Lumbini General Insurance Co. Ltd. (LGIL) lost the highest 7.08% today.

Only one sector closed green, "Mutual Fund" gained 0.75% while "Finance" lost the highest 2.45%.
