NEPSE Loses 15.02 Points and Closes at 2,370.99, Only Two Sector Indices Close Green

The NEPSE index closed at 2,370.99 today after losing 15.02 from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.63%. The index had lost 34.95 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,386.04 today and made the intraday high at 2,401.57. It then made the intraday low at 2,358.82 and closed at 2,370.99.

228 scrips traded hands via 25,766 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 3,419,228 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.046 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 2.0422 Arba.

Siddhartha Bank Limited (SBL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 4.21 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 399 per share. NIBL Pragati Fund (NIBLPF) traded the most.

Jalpa Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (JALPA) gained 9.99% and technically hit the positive circuit breaker for the day.

On the other side of things, Himalayan Power Partner Ltd. (HPPL) lost the highest 5.41% today.

Two of thirteen sector indices closed green today. "Mutual Fund" gained the highest 1.62% while "HydroPower" lost the highest 1.49%.
