NEPSE Loses 0.86% Points to Close at 2,112.47 Levels; Mutual Fund Index Up 0.14%

The NEPSE index closed at 2,112.47 today after losing 18.26 points from last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.86%. The index had lost 7.21 points yesterday. Also, this is the fourth consecutive fall of this week.
The index opened at 2,130.35 points and made intraday high at 2,142.65. It then made intraday low at 2,107.77 and closed at 2,112.47.
227 scrips traded hands via 21,833 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 3,566,819 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.161 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.078 Arba.
Mountain Hydro Nepal Limited (MHNL) traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 12.12 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 320.
Balephi Hydropower Limited (BHL) gained the highest 9.97%.
On the other side of things, Prabhu Life Insurance Limited (PLI) lost highest 6.47% today.
Only one sector closed green, "Mutual Fund" gained 0.14% while "Trading" lost the highest 2.6%.
