Nepse Index up by 4.05 points with minimal turnover above Rs 89.06 crore

Nepal Stock Exchange closed with slight gain today. The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) went up by 4.05 points (0.24%) to close at 1662.38 points.
Today, Nepse Index opened at 1658.88 points, and took off to 1668.64 in the first trading hour. However, it slipped back slightly to close at 1662.38.
The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 89.06 crore in which more than 13 lakh unit shares were traded through 7,186 transactions. Sanima Mai Hydropower Limited (SHPC) and Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) had the highest turnovers today.
75,271 units of Laxmi Bank Limited (LBL) and 56,402.units of Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) were traded the most today.
Saptakoshi Development Bank Limited (SKDBL), Bhargav Bikas Bank Limited (BHBL), Sahara Bikas Bank Limited (SHBL) and Ngadi Group Power Limited (NGPL) hit positive circuit today.
Janautthan Samudayic Laghubitta Bikas Bank Limited (JSLBB ), NMB Microfianance Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NMBMF) and Lalitpur Finance Limited (LFC) lost the most today. All three companies dropped by around 5% today.
Sensitive and float index increased by 1.09 points and 0.25 points respectively.
Except Development banks and Manufacturing & Productions, all sector landed in green today. Hotel index increased the most by 43.07 points.
