NEPSE Index up by 3.69 points to close at 1137.03 level; Turnover above Rs. 46.19 crore, 53,806 units of BOK worth Rs 3.13 crore traded

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went up by 3.69 points or 0.33% to close at 1137.03. Opening at 1133.36 points this afternoon, the local bourse went down to 1132.32 points during first trading hour of the day and after that it was in upward trend. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 46.19 crore where more than 7.67 lakhs unit shares were traded through 4,525 transactions. Today the shares of Bank of Kathmandu Ltd. (BOK) were traded in high volume. 53,806 units of BOK worth Rs 3.13 crore traded today through 130 transactions. Sensitive and float index went up by 0.67 and 0.3 points respectively. Except Banking and Insurance all thesectors at NEPSE landed in red. LUBL, BOK, NICA, NMBSF-1, SIGS-1, NIL, LGIL, SEOS, NGBBL, NBL were among the top traded shares. MMFDB, VLBS, PURBL, LGIL, NICL, NIL, ILFCM, MSMBS, PRIN, UIC were among the top gainers of the day. TRH, SMFDB, MDB, BFCL, ARUN, NBL, REDBL, TDBL, GMFIL, NHPC were among the top gainers of the day.
