NEPSE Index swings up by 33.60 points with turnover exceeding Rs 1.90 arba; Insurance sector surges by 101.88 points

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) went up by 33.60 points or 2% to close at 1709.82 points.
Today, Nepse Index opened at 1676.25 points and was seen in upward trend from the beginning.
201,913 unit shares of Nepal Commerce and Credit Bank Limited (NCCB) and 188,004 unit shares of Prabhu Bank Promoter Shares (PRVU) were traded the most today.
16 companies hit positive circuit today.
NCCB and MNBBL had the highest turnover of Rs 9.05 crore 8.80 crore respectively.
The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 1.90 arba where more than 31.04 lakh units shares were traded through 11,316 transactions.
Sensitive and float index went up by 7.28 points and 2.98 points respectively.
All sectors in NEPSE landed in green. Insurance group witnessed the highest growth of 101.88 points followed by development bank sector that rose by 56.76 points.
