NEPSE Index Surges by 34.46 Points to Settle at 2760.17; All Sector Close Green Except Mutual Fund

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining 34.46 points (1.26%) to settle at 2,760.17. This follows a 35.09 -point loss in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,725.63, touching an intraday high of 2,763.27, while the lowest point was 2,724.90. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 9.41 Arba, with 26,517,209 shares traded across 317 companies through 74,057 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 45.9 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 15.70 Kharba.

 

Butwal Power Company Limited (BPCL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 52.3 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 893.0.

 

Super Madi Hydropower Limited (SMHL) led the gainer's list with a 8.08% gain each.

 

Meanwhile, Bhagawati Hydropower Development Company Limited (BGWT) recorded the steepest drop, falling 4.64%.

 

Among sectors, the Banking SubIndex registered the highest gain, gaining 1.81%, while the Others Index saw the least gain of 0.52%.
