Nepse Index slides by meager 0.32 points on last trading day of the week; Turnover above Rs 1.10 arba

On the last trading day of the week, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) dropped by 0.32 points or 0.02% to close at 1670.62 points.
Nepse Index opened at 1670.31 points today and the local bourse was seen in sideways movement. Equal demand from buyers and sellers was seen today, ending Nepse almost at the same point where it started today.
97,605 units shares of Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) and 87,129 unit shares of Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank Limited (NCCB) were traded most today.
5 companies hit positive circuit break today.
The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 1.10 arba where more than 14.51 lakh units shares were traded through 8,003 transactions.
Sensitive and float index went down by 0.59 and 0.21 points respectively.
Except Banking and Others, all the sub-indices landed in green zone today. Insurance sub-group witnessed the growth of 69.8 points followed by Hotels group which rose by 66.53 points.
