NEPSE Index Sees 0.71% Uptick, IPO Rookie SIKLES Hits Circuit Breaker Again

The NEPSE index closed at 1,911.26 today after gaining 13.40 points from last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.71%. The index had lost 6.59 points yesterday.
The index opened at 1,898.7 which is also the intraday low. It then made intraday high at 1,914.38 and ultimately closed at 1,911.26.
232 scrips traded hands via 17,702 transactions. A total of 2,495,612 shares exchanged hands amounting to only Rs. 85.94 Crores in the turnover amount. This is lower than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.023 Arba.
Ridi Power Company Limited (RIDI) had the highest turnover of Rs. 6.03 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 482.9 per share. The shares of Ngadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) traded the most.
Sikles Hydropower Limited (SIKLES) gained the highest 10% and hit positive circuit for the day.
On the other side of things, Janautthan Samudayic Laghubitta Bittya Sanstha Limited (JSLBB) lost 4.13% today.
Only two sector indices closed red, "Development Bank Index" gained the highest 1.27% while "Trading Index" lost the highest 1.20%.
