Nepse Index rises by 9.04 points with turnover above Rs 36.89 crore; Hydropower sector surges by 62.15 points

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) went up by 9.04 points or 0.67% today to close at 1356.13 points.
Today, Nepse Index opened at 1347.09 points and the local bourse went down to 1340.30 points in the second trading hour of the day. After that, it was seen in upward trend.
117,350 unit shares of Nepal Investment Bank Promoter Shares (NIBPO) and 117,207 unit shares of Siddhartha Equity Oriented Scheme (SEOS) were traded the most today.
National Hydropower Company Limited (NHPC) hit positive circuit today.
The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 36.89 crore where more than 8.55 lakh units shares were traded through 3,009 transactions.
Sensitive and float index went up by 1.82 points and 0.64 points respectively.
All sectors at Nepse landed in green. Sub-indices of insurance, hotels and Hydropower sub-indices surged by double digit.
