NEPSE index rises by 31.05 points with increase in turnover above Rs 76.30 crore; all sectors in green

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has gained 31.05 points (2%) today along with significant increase in turnover. Over 35.09 lakh units shares were traded today from 6,696 different transactions. This accounted for a significant increase in turnover above Rs 76.30 crore.
Nerude Laghubitta Bikas Bank Limited (NLBBL) and Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) accounted for highest turnovers of Rs 6.20 crore and Rs 5.49 crore respectively. Mutual funds like NIBL Sambriddhi Fund-1 (NIBSF1), Siddhartha Equity Oriented Scheme (SEOS), NMB Sulav Investment Fund-1 (NMBSF1) and Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme-1 (SIGS1) were traded the most today.
Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited (AHPC), Nirdhan utthan Bank Limited (NUBL) and Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) gained the most today while Progressive Finance Limited (PROFL), World Merchant Banking and Finance Limited (WMBF) and Goodwill Finance Company Limited (GFCL) were the top losers today.
All sectors have ended in green, with insurance sector gaining the most with 319.90 points. Sensitive index gained 6.90 points and float index gained 2.38 points today.
