Nepse Index rises by 13.74 points today; Turnover exceeds to Rs 71.46 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) has increased by 13.74 points or 0.93% to close at 1490.88 points today.
Nepse Index opened at 1477.21 points today and the local bourse was seen in downward trend in the second trading hour of the day, afterward it was seen upward trend. The total turnover of the day stood at 71.46 crores in which more than 17.30 lakh units shares were traded with 5,710 transactions. Manual Turnover of Rs 11.24 crore was seen today.
Gurans Life Insurance Promoter Shares (GLICLPO) was the top stocks by turnover and the most traded shares today.
The best performer for the day was Chilime Hydropower Company Limited (CHCL) while Prabhu Bank Limited Promoter Shares (PRVUPO) was the biggest loser today.
Except Hotels & Development banks sub-groups, all the sub-groups landed in green zone today. Hydropower sub-group witnessed the growth of 75.31 points followed by Insurance group which rises by 18.51 points.
Sensitive and float index went up by 3.47 and 1.03 points respectively.
