Nepse Index plunges by 4.70 points with turnover of Rs 1.31 arba; Hotels up by 13.25 points

On the last trading day of the week, The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) went down  by 4.70 points or 0.26% to close at 1774.87 points. Nepse Index opened at 1779.58 points and went up to 1788.57 points during the first trading hour of the day. 1,306,817 unit shares of Laxmi Value Fund-1 were traded more today as the company had declared 25 percent cash divided and announced book closure date for the same. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 1.31 arba, where more than 35.44 lakhs unit shares were traded through 7,597 transactions. Sensitive index and float index went down by 1.05 and 0.39 points respectively. Except Development Banks and Hotels ,  all the sectors at Nepse landed on red.
