NEPSE Index Loses Double Digits Again to Close at 1,882.60; All Sectors Close Red

The NEPSE index closed at 1,882.60 today after losing 14.48 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.76%. The index lost 2.62 points yesterday.

The index opened at 1,897.34 and made an intraday high of 1,899.00. It then made an intraday low at 1,880.16 and ultimately closed at 1,882.60.

254 scrips traded hands via 22,374 transactions. A total of 4,804,279 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.192 Arba in turnover amount. This is higher than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 72.78 Crores.

Nepal Credit & Commercial Bank Ltd. Promoter Share (NCCBPO) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 22.89 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 119.38 per share.

Ru Ru Jalbidhyut Pariyojana Limited (RURU) gained the highest 9.99% and technically hit a positive circuit for the day.

On the other side of things, Peoples Hydropower Company Limited (PHCL) lost all 10% today.

All sector indices closed red, "Finance" lost the highest by 1.49 % while "Trading" lost the least by 0.28%.
