Nepse Index inches up by 3.36 points with turnover above Rs 32.23 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) has risen by 3.36 points or 0.22 percent to close at 1505.99 points.
Today, NEPSE index opened at 1502.63 points and the local bourse was seen upward trend till second trading hour of the day, after which it was seen fluctuating.
The total turnover of the day stood at Rs 32.23 crore in which more than 7.54 lakh units shares were traded with 3,794 transactions.
Chilime Hydropower Company Limited (CHCL) was the top stocks by turnover (Rs 3.10 crore) while the shares of Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited Promoter Shares (MBLPO) was the most traded (49,729 unit) today.
The top gainer for today’s trading day was Srijana Finance Limited (SFFIL). On the other hand, the top loser for the day was Nepal Community Development Bank Limited (NCDB).
Expect Banking,Finance, and Manufacturing & Production sub-indices, all other sub-indices landed on the green. Insurance sub-indices grew by 60.08 points, while Manufacture & Production has slumped by 14.33 points.
Sensitive and float index slightly went up by 0.85 and 0.15 points respectively.
