Nepse Index in sideways movement; slides by meager 2.08 points with turnover above Rs 95.51 crore; 10 companies hit positive circuit

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) dropped by 2.08 points or 0.12% to close at 1670.30 points today. Nepse Index opened at 1672.22 points today and the local bourse went up to 1677.65 points, afterward it was seen in sideways movement. index 110,000 units shares of Siddhartha Equity Oriented Scheme (SEOS) and 82,292 unit shares of Jyoti Bikas Bank Limited (JBBL) were traded the most today. 10 companies hit positive circuit break today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 95.51 crore where more than 14.90 lakh units shares were traded through 7,584 transactions. Sensitive index went down by 1.56 and float index slightly increased by 0.22 points respectively. Except Banking, Hotels, and Manufacturing & Production sectors, all the sub-indices landed in green zone today.  Development Bank sub-group witnessed the highest growth of 17.31 points. sector loser traded trans turn gainer
