NEPSE Index Gains Minimal 1.15 Points and Closes at 2,196.25; Intraday Turnover Stood at Rs. 4.670 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 2,196.25 today after gaining 1.15 points from last tarding's closing. This is a gain of 0.05%. The index had gained 54.58 points yesterday.
The index opened at 2205.77 points and went intraday low at 2,183.22. Then, the index made intraday high at 2,224.48 and ultimately closed at 2,196.25.
217 scrips traded hands via 67,205 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 10,518,712 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 4.670 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 4.609 Arba.
SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) had the highest turnover of Rs. 38.31 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 848 per share. The shares of Hydorelectricity Investment and Development Company Ltd (HIDCL) traded the most.
Butwal Power Company Limited (BPCL) gained highest for the day with 6.95%.
On the other side of things, Swabhimaan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMFBS) lost the highest 5.21% today.
Only five sector indices closed green, "Trading" gained the highest 3.54% while "Hotel abd Tourism" lost the highest 2%.
