Nepse Index gains 9.79 points with turnover exceeding Rs 99.63 crore; Rs 24.61 crore worth NABILP traded

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has gained 9.79 points today. The index has closed at 1,585.01 points today after rising by 0.62%. Although the market remained fairly stagnant until the first trading hours, the local bourse rose in the second trading hour. Over 19.30 lakh units shares were traded today from 4,805 different transactions. The total turnover of the day exceeds to Rs 99.63 crore. Nabil Bank Limited Promoter Shares (NABILP) and National Life Insurance Promoter shares (NLICLP) accounted for highest turnovers of Rs 24.61 crore and Rs 9.75 crore respectively. 294,450 units of NMB Sulav Investment Fund-1 (NMBSF1) were traded the most today. Forward Community Bittiya Sanstha limited (FOWAD) and Kuber Merchant Finance Limited (KMBSL) gained the most today while National Life Insurance Company Limited Promoter Share (NLICLP) was the top losers today. Sensitive and float ind`ex went up by 1.91 and 0.73 points respectively. All sectors have ended in green, insurance sector increased the most with 60.79 points.
