NEPSE index falls by 1.36 points with a meagre turnover of 22.85 crore

The market today had opened at 1,187.30, climbing 13 points within the first hour and falling at the later part of the day.The turnover for today stood at Rs 22.85 crore with a total of 3,597 transactions taking place.
Nepal Life Insurance (NLIC) came out as the scrip with highest turnover, whereas the maximum shares traded were that of Nepal Credit and Commercial Bank (NCCB).
Similarly the top gainer for today is Kalika Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha (KMCDB), climbing by 9.91% closing at Rs 1,009. Similarly, the top loser for today is Shangrila Development bank (SADBL) plunging by 2.98% closing at Rs 139.
The sector wise sub-indices for today are as follows. The sub-indices for all the sectors except Non-life insurance, microfinance and Life insurance ended up losing points.
