SEBON to Organize Investor Awareness Programs Across Nepal from Ashwin 19

The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) is set to organize a series of investor education and awareness programs across Nepal from Ashwin 19 to 25 to mark World Investor Week (WIW) 2026.
According to SEBON’s schedule, the week-long campaign will include awareness rallies, investor training programs, podcasts, panel discussions, competitions, institutional visits and radio programs targeting general investors, students, businesspeople and bank employees.
On Ashwin 19, awareness rallies will be held in Biratnagar, Pokhara and Surkhet, alongside investor training programs in Biratnagar and Pokhara. On Ashwin 20, further training programs will be conducted in Biratnagar and Surkhet, while a student-focused panel discussion will be held in Pokhara.
On Ashwin 21, an inter-college presentation competition will be organized in Pokhara under the theme “Invest in Your Future. Protect It Today.” Students in Kathmandu will also visit NEPSE, CDSC, stock brokers, stock dealers and merchant bankers to learn about the capital market.
Similarly, Bhairahawa and Birgunj will host investor training and student competitions on Ashwin 22, while drama, panel discussion and presentation competitions will be organized in Birgunj and Butwal on Ashwin 23.
On Ashwin 24, SEBON will conduct a nationwide radio program featuring discussions with experts, along with investor awareness activities organized by CDSC, MBAN and SBAN.
The campaign will conclude on Ashwin 25 with the planned launch of SEBON’s Learning Management System (LMS) website, which will provide online educational materials on the securities market, investment procedures, risks and investor awareness.
