Nepse Index dwindles by 6.48 points with turnover above Rs 1.06 arba; 5 companies hit 10% positive circuit break

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) has decreased by 6.48 points or 0.40% to close at 1629.08 points today.
NEPSE Index opened 1635.39 points and the local bourse slightly increased in the first trading hour after that it was seen in downward trend.The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 1.06 arba in which more than 17.40 lakh units shares were traded 9,210 transactions.
Sanima Mai Hydropower Limited (SHPC) topped the list of companies in terms of turnover (Rs 8.79 crore) while National Hydropower company Limited (NHPC) was at the top in terms of number of shares traded (3.35 lakh units).
The best performer for the day were national Hydropower Company Limited (NHPC), Arun finance Limited (ARUN), Himalayan Distillary Limited (HDL), Rastriya Beem Company Limited (RBCL and RBCL Promoter Shares (RBCLPO) hitting 10% positive circuit break whereas Gurkhas Finance Limited (GUFL) was the biggest loser today.
Sensitive and float index declined by 2.41 and 0.72 points respectively.
Except Insurance, Finance and Manufacturing & Production sub-groups, all the sub-groups landed in red zone today. Insurance sub-group witnessed the growth of 100.7 points.
