Nepse Index dwindled by 39.31 points to close at 1683.12 points; turnover above Rs 86.19 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went down  by 39.31  points or 2.28% to close at 1683.12 points. Nepse Index opened at 1722.77 points and was seen on downward trend. 125,619 unit share of Nepal Investment Bank Limited (NIB), and 92657 unit shares of Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) were traded more today The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 86.19 crore, where more than 11.90 lakh units shares were traded through 5,607 transactions. Sensitive index and float index went down by 8.25 and 2.91 points respectively. All the sectors at Nepse landed on red. Banking sector plunges by 32.86 points.
