Nepse Index down by 45.12 points to close at 1,768.60 points; All the sector at Nepse lands on red

On the last trading day of the week, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went down by 45.12 points or 2.49% to close at  1,768.60 points. Nepse Index opened at  1813.68  points and went down to 1770.51 points during the second trading hour of the day. Due to the political scenario Nepal Stock Exchange Limited had continuously been in downward trend this week. Market sentiments seems negative after CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal becomes the new  prime minister. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 1.50 arba, where more than 27 lakhs unit shares were traded through 7,734 transactions. Siddhartha Bank Limited (SBL) has the highest turnover of Rs 11.96 crore. Sensitive index and float index went down by 9.8 and 3.32 points respectively. All the other sectors at Nepse landed on red.
