NEPSE Index Dips By Minimal 0.14 Points To Close at 2,683.86 Levels; Overall Volume Stood at Rs. 6.57 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, losing 0.14 points to settle at 2,683.86. This follows a 22.35-point loss in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,683.77, touching an intraday high of 2,690.13, while the lowest point was 2,662.59. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 6.57 Arba, with 15,027,372 shares traded across 304 companies through 56,276 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.71 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 15.16 Kharba.

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 51.67 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1,309.20.

Butwal Power Company Limited (BPCL) led the gainers' list with an 8.21% gain each.

Meanwhile, Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Company Limited (RHPL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 5.08%.

Among sectors, the Finance Index sector registered the highest gain, gaining 1.25%, while the Others Index saw the highest loss at 0.77%.
