Nepse Index dips by meager 3.62 points with turnover above Rs 40.07 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) has decreased by 3.62 points or 0.23% to close at 1568.30 points today.
Today, NEPSE Index opened at 1572 points and the local bourse was seen in upward trend in the first trading day afterward selling pressure was seen and the index was seen in downward trend. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 40.07 crore where more than 8.87 lakh units shares were traded through 3,788 transactions.
Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) topped the list of companies in terms of turnover (Rs 3.37 crore) while was traded the most (41,780 units) today.
The best performer of the day was Multipurpose Finance Company Limited (MPFL) hitting 10% positive circuit break while Janautthan Samudayic Laghubitta Bikas Bank Limited (JSLBB) was the biggest loser today.
Sensitive and float index slightly went down by 0.47 points and 0.3 points respectively.
Except Others, All sectors at NEPSE landed in red. Sub-indices of Manufacturing & Production declined the most by 57.08 points.
