Nepse Index dips by 8.93 points to close at 1575.22 level; Turnover limited to Rs 69.35 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) has decreased by 8.93 points or 0.56% to close at 1,575.22 points today.
Soaltee Hotel Limited (SHL) topped the list of companies in terms of turnover (Rs 7.33 crore) while NMB Sulav Investment Fund-1 (NMBSF1) was at the top in terms of number of shares traded (1,321,994 units).
The best performer for the day was World Merchant Banking Limited (WMBF) whereas Progressive Finance Limited (PROFL) was the biggest loser today.
The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 69.35 in which more than 28.65 lakh units shares were traded 5,820 transactions.
Sensitive and float index went down by 2.13 points and 0.74 points respectively.
Except Manufacturing & Production sub-groups, all the sub-groups landed in red zone today. Insurance sub-group witnessed the biggest drop of 59.63 points.
