Nepse Index continues to slide by 8.12 points; Minimal turnover of Rs 31.68 crore

The benchmark capital market index, Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), has declined by 8.12 points or 0.54% to close at 1501.89 points.
Today, NEPSE Index opened at 1510.61 points and the local bourse was seen in downward trend throughout the day. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 31.68 crore where more than 6.43 lakh units shares were traded through 3,660 transactions.
Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) topped the list of companies in terms of turnover and traded shares today.
Sensitive and float index slightly went down by 1.53 points and 0.63 points respectively.
Except others, the indices of eight trading group landed in red at the end of the day with Insurance sector losing the most followed by Development Banks and Finance sector.
Laxmi Value Fund-1 (LVF1) was the top gainer followed by Kisan Microfinance Company Limited (KMFL) while Saptakoshi Development Bank Limited (SKDBL) was among the top loser followed by Rural Microfinance Development Center Limited (RMDC).
