Nepse Index closes positively with gain of 2.89 points; Turnover above Rs 94.68 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) went up by 2.89 points or 0.17% to settle at 1667.94 points.
Nepse Index opened at 1664.40 points however, it rose slightly and ended at 1667.94 points by the end of the day. The total turnover of the day stood above 94.68 crore in which more than 11.57 lakh units shares were traded 8,581 transactions.
Citizen Investment Trust Limited (CIT) topped the list of companies in terms of turnover (Rs 6.61 crore) while Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme-1(SIGS1) was at the top in terms of number of shares traded (16.80 lakh units).
The best performer of the day was Lumbini Bikas Bank Limited (LBBL) while Kuber Merchant Finance Limited (KMBSL) was the biggest loser today.
Sensitive and float index slightly went up by 1.07 points and 0.02 points respectively.
Except Banking, Manufacturing & Production and Hydropower, all sectors at Nepse landed in green. Hotel sub- group witnessed the growth of 16.65 points.
