Nepse Index closes positively with gain of 2.48 points; Turnover above Rs 72.31 crore

Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE)’s benchmark index has slightly inches up by 2.48 points or 0.15 percent to close at 1614.05 points. Today, NEPSE index opened at 1611.74 points and the local bourse was seen fluctuating until the second trading hour after that market eventually rises upward up to 1622.41 points and again selling pressure drags market down but ended in positive. The total turnover of the day stood at 72.31 crores in which more than 17.89 lakh units shares were traded with 11,650 transactions. Manual turnover was seen of Rs 1.99 crore today. Himalayan Power Partner Limited (HPPL) was the top stocks by turnover (Rs 4.79 crore) while Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme-1(SIGS1) consequently among the most traded shares (2.09 lakhs unit). The top gainer for today’s trading day was Himalayan Power Partner. On the other hand, the top loser for the day was Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL). Expect Finance, and Manufacturing & production sub-indices, all other sub-indices landed on the green. Hydropower sub-indices grew by 11.36 points, while Manufacture &Production has slumped by 11.64 points. Sensitive and float index slightly went up by 0.52 and 0.18 points respectively.
