Nepse Index closes positively by 3.57 points on first trading day after Tihar; Minimal turnover of Rs 36.93 crore

On the first trading day of the week after Tihar Festival, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) rises by 3.57 points or 0.23% to close at 1571.92 points today. Nepse Index opened at 1567.96 points today and the local bourse went up to 1586.54 points, afterward it was seen downward trend. index The total turnover of the day stood at 36.93 crores in which more than 8.72 lakh units shares were traded with 3,397 transactions. Chilime Hydropower Company Limited (CHCL) was the top stocks by turnover and  the most traded shares today as well. The top gainer for today’s trading day was Arun Kabeli Hydropower Limited (AKPL). On the other hand, the top loser for the day was Sindhu Bikas Bank Limited (SINDU). Expect Insurance, Trading, and Hotels sub-indices, all other sub-indices landed on the green zone today.
